Brook House Terms and Conditions

BROOK HOUSE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservations – can be made by telephone, e-mail, post or directly online using our computerised online reservation system.

 

Arrival Time – we operate a flexible arrival time policy from 2.00pm until 7.00 pm.   Although your room may not be ready before 2pm you are welcome to check-in before this time, leave your luggage, your car in the car park and collect your room key.

Check out – is at 10.00 am on the day of departure.  Please ask us if you need a later check-out.

Deposits
No deposit will be collected when booking.  See the cancellation details below for more information about charges.
Cancellation/No Show/Reduction
If the booking is cancelled 10 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to the first night of the stay will be made.
If the booking is cancelled less than 10 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking will be charged.

Non-availability of Room – we would only cancel your booking if accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you.  Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Damage and Breakages – please take care with our accommodation.  You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.  Please report these as soon as they occur.  We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.

Liability – please be aware that Brook House does not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting the in the course of employment.

Environmental Policy – Towels will be changed every 3 days and bed linen every 4 days unless you would prefer less frequent changes.  We recycle plastic, cans, glass, paper and cardboard.
